This version is closer to my original vision. In my first render I added the boy looking on by following a whimsical impulse. I have only recently started to let these impulses guide me and have found that they can add much to my art. This time, however, I think it lead me astray. This version gives me a better sense of "closure", for lack of a better word.
Enjoy!
